Project Coordinator -
Lhakpa Gelu Sherpa
Project Goals: Building self-supporting schools and bringing education to the children of Nepali villages as well as helping fund local teachers, holding medical, dental and eye-care clinics, distributing clothing, distributing school supplies, and providing programs for the children.
Group Size: 20 individuals
Age Group: 16 and up
Duration: Two weeksStatus: Open to applications
Cost: (US$ funds to raise or pay per person):
(Includes volunteer's food, lodging, airfare, visa, and a portion of the building materials, and medical supplies needed.)
Bonus Adventure Included: Enjoy a special trip to visit the Everest base camp at the end of the project led by Everest world record holder Lhakpa Gelu Sherpa, our way of saying thank you to our great volunteers who give their hearts to this project!
